You Never Forget Your First NYFW

With the opening of Fashion Week at Lincoln Center today, I'm reminded of the first time I ever experienced Fashion Week in New York...

I was fresh out of college and ready for anything when Vie Magazine invited me to travel with them and cover the shows. As someone who grew up pouring over the September issue of Vogue and setting up "runway shows" in the hallways of my family home,  I really can't tell you how exciting a prospect this was for me.
